Parking:
Parking is plentiful, convenient and always available.
There are many parking options for 31st Street Harbor guests. Available Monday-Thursday the closest lot to our location is the boater/visitor lot, which is a covered garage off the harbor drive. To enter, turn left down the ramp, and take parking ticket.
For our weekend guest please park in Lot B. Lot B is located on the south side of 31st Street just west side of Lake Shore Drive.
Another lot is available along the lake to McCormick Place.
Taxi, Uber, or Vehicle Drop offs are to be done at 31St Street Harbor turnaround or 31St & Lake Shore Drive.
It’s also a good idea to check out what’s going on in the area on the date of your charter at Chicago Bears Schedule and FirstMerit Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island. Special events generally mean more traffic, and you’ll want to be prepared. You may want to rent a bus or take public transportation rather than deal with parking.

DIRECTIONS TO 31st Street Harbor:
From the North (North Shore):
Take the Edens Expressway (I-94) south to the Kennedy Expressway (I-90). From the Kennedy Expressway take the Dan Ryan (I-94) south. Continue going south on the Dan Ryan keeping in the right lane and exit north on the Stevenson Expressway (I-55). From the Stevenson Expressway take Lake Shore Drive South. Exit at 31st Street, Turn East towards the lake then turn right and follow the signs to the parking lot.
From the Northwest or O’Hare Airport:
Take the Northwest Tollway (I-90) to the Kennedy/Dan Ryan (I-94). From the Kennedy/Dan Ryan take the Stevenson Expressway (I-55) north to Lake Shore Drive South. Exit at 31st Street, Turn East towards the lake then turn right and follow the signs to the parking lot.
From the South:
Take the local lanes on I-94 to the Calumet Expressway. From the Calumet Expressway, take the Dan Ryan (I-94) north to the Stevenson Expressway (I-55). Go north on the Stevenson Expressway to Lake Shore Drive South. Exit at 31st Street, Turn East towards the lake then turn right and follow the signs to the parking lot. From the Southwest or Midway Airport:
Take the Stevenson Expressway (I-55) north to Lake Shore Drive South. Exit at 31st Street, Turn East towards the lake then turn right and follow the signs to the parking lot.
From the West:
Take the Eisenhower (I-290) east to the Dan Ryan (I-94) south. Keeping in the right lane on the Dan Ryan exit onto the Stevenson Expressway (I-55) north to Lake Shore Drive South. Exit at 31st Street, Turn East towards the lake then turn right and follow the signs to the parking lot.
From Indiana via the Skyway:
Take the Indiana Tollway (I-90) to the Chicago Skyway. Traveling in the local lanes, take the Dan Ryan Expressway (I-94) north to the Stevenson Expressway (I-55) north to Lake Shore Drive South. Exit at 31st Street, Turn East towards the lake then turn right and follow the signs to the parking lot.
From Indiana via I-80/94:
Take I-80/94 to the Calumet Expressway. From the Calumet Expressway, take the Dan Ryan Expressway (I-94) North to the Stevenson Expressway (I-55) North to Lake Shore Drive South Exit at 31st Street, turn right and follow the signs to parking lot. From the South via Lake Shore Drive:
Exit at 31st Street, Turn East towards the lake then turn right and follow the signs to the parking lot.
